[ OPPORTUNITIES FOR INNOVATORS ]

We Excel in the extreme.

We know you will, too.

For our team, a day in the office might look like catching air as the Hurricane Hunter's P-3 drops thousands of feet in mere seconds. Other days, we're trekking through rainforests in remote locations, launching our UAS above active volcanoes in places like Greenland, Hawaii, and wherever else our missions might lead. We turn the unbelievable into operational reality. Join the team conducting environmental research where no one else can.

[ YOUR FUTURE IS ABOUT TO TAKE OFF ]

Innovators on site

Our team is fueled by the raw passion and purpose behind our missions. Working together to build systems that protect lives and critical assets in the most extreme environments creates an undeniable momentum, and a shared drive to keep pushing limits.

By joining our team, your engineering and operational efforts will directly contribute to crucial scientific advancements to better understand, and ultimately protect, communities in the paths of some of the most destructive natural forces on Earth.

We are currently searching for innovators with various skillsets to further our mission.

WHY WORK WITH US?

We aim to support our employees in a variety of ways. Our landmark achievements are a reflection of the creative minds behind them.

[ DEPLOYMENTS ]

EPIC FIELD DEPLOYMENTS

Our team frequently deploys to remote and extreme locations to prove our tech. Past operational deployments have taken our crews to the glaciers of Greenland, active volcanoes in Costa Rica and Alaska's Aleutian Islands, and military testing sites in Hawaii.

[ TRAINING ]

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & FLIGHT TRAINING

We actively encourage our staff to obtain their FAA Part 107 certifications so they can gain real-world operational flight experience. We also support ongoing training and professional development options for each member of our team.

[ WORKSPACE ]

FLEXIBLE & COLLABORATIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT

While we value the rapid collaboration that comes from working together in our Boulder office, we maintain a flexible work-from-home policy for when you need it.

[ LEADERSHIP ]

TRANSPARENT LEADERSHIP

Leadership actively works to reduce burnout by clearly defining project priorities and distributing decision-making. We actively encourage our team to voice their needs.

ARE YOU READY TO PUSH THE BOUNDARIES?

We are currently expanding our team to scale our global data and aerospace ecosystem. If you love a challenge and want to build technology that survives the harshest conditions on Earth, we want to hear from you. Explore open roles and apply in a few easy steps:

OPEN POSITIONS

Build onboard computer-vision capabilities that turn raw imagery into mission-useful information. You'll take detection and tracking models from prototype to reliable, real-time performance on edge hardware in the field.
Drive disciplined execution across our engineering programs, from kickoff through closeout. You'll lead sprints, milestones, risk management, and customer reporting for UAS programs in regulated environments.
Own embedded firmware for the SwiftCore flight management system across our UAS platforms. You'll lead device bring-up, real-time interfaces, and debugging to turn hardware into flight-ready capability.
Own senior-level electrical design for UAS avionics, mission-system electronics, and ground hardware. You'll take designs from schematic through bring-up, integration, and flight-ready release.
Be the main link between our customers and our engineering, operations, and program teams. You'll own customer engagements from technical discovery through delivery and ongoing support.
Keep materials flowing for our hardware operations by managing purchasing, suppliers, and logistics. You'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality to keep production on track.
Own the full sales cycle for Black Swift's advanced UAS platforms, from prospecting and technical discovery through closing. You'll grow revenue across enterprise, government, and defense markets.
Lead day-to-day operations on our manufacturing floor, turning engineering designs into high-quality aerial vehicles. You'll own safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory while building a culture of continuous improvement.
Build and maintain user-facing tools like SwiftWeb that turn complex flight and payload data into clear, usable workflows. An early-career, front-end focused role for a self-directed builder with a strong UX instinct.
Build the web interfaces operators, internal teams, and customers use to work with flight and payload data. An early-career, high-agency role with a front-end specialty in an AI-native engineering environment.
